Is Cultural Coder free to use? Yes. Core lessons, the AI tutor, and progress tracking are completely free. Premium features like higher AI request limits and priority support are available through EcoCash subscription.
How do I access lessons in Shona or Ndebele? Use the language selector in the top navigation to switch between English, Shona, and Ndebele. The AI tutor will then explain concepts in your chosen language using Zimbabwean cultural analogies.
What makes Cultural Coder different from other coding platforms? We explain programming concepts through Zimbabwean cultural frameworks — variables become storage baskets, loops become drum rhythms. This makes abstract concepts feel familiar and accessible.
Do I need prior coding experience? No. Our placement quiz helps determine your current level and recommends where to start. Complete beginners can begin with our Computers 101 package.
Can teachers use Cultural Coder for classrooms? Yes. Instructors can create classrooms, assign lessons, and track student progress. Contact us through GitHub to set up instructor access.
